The Texas Chi Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded on the campus of Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi on September 15, 2001. Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi was a perfect destination for SigEp because of the lifestyle the campus holds. The campus culture is one of activity and scholarship. Examples include activities on the beach, beach clean ups, marathons downtown, strong academics, high success rates and a strong overall GPA. Since SigEp was founded on the campus, it hasn’t done anything but grow. The chapter has created great relationships with multiple sororities, faculty members, and even other fraternities. With the principles of virtue, diligence and brotherly love in their hearts, the SigEps are known as gentlemen and scholars.
There are many notable alumni that crossed the stage as SigEps from the Texas Chi chapter. There are multiple men in the Corpus Christi Fire Department.
